This year will see the 75th anniversary of our RAT pack; by this we mean we will be having our 75th organised event. This includes all of our monthly ride outs, breakfast runs and social events (skittles, parties) but not the monthly meetings. To celebrate the fact we have co-incidentally arranged a week-end in the beautiful city of Guinness. Sorry, Dublin! We have an incredible ferry deal with Stena line which involves a special rate of £33 each way on the fats ferry for a bike and up to two people.

The itinerary is as follows:

Saturday 14 April - Catch the Fast Ferry from Holyhead to Dun Laoghaire 08.55

Arrive in Ireland 10.34 and then travel into Dublin. Book in at accommodation and then spend the afternoon touring Dublin (best suggestion is the open top tour bus).

Meet up around 19.30 at the accommodation and then off to dinner (optional) at the Thunder Road Cafe and then a few drops of the black stuff! There are so many places that it is difficult to suggest where to start!

Sunday 15 April

Either

1. Spend the day in Dublin and return on he Fast Ferry at 18.00

2. Return on the Fast Ferry at 11.10

To book your ferry you will have to log on to

www.stenaline.co.uk/event

Follow the easy instructions and the event code is EV414.

Accommodation is at the Roxford Lodge Hotel (http://www.roxfordlodge.ie/). The price is 130 Euros for a double room including a full Irish breakfast or 85 Euros for a single. Please make your booking direct with the hotel and by 25 January. After this date they will start to let rooms out.

This elegant Victorian townhouse hotel is only a short stroll from the bustling centre of cosmopolitan Dublin, and the city’s main tourist attractions, cultural and business centres. Many of the Capital’s most popular restaurants and bars are only a few minutes walk away.

All of our rooms are individually designed with every modern amenity. Our Executive Suite offers the ultimate in luxury and for that extra touch of indulgence, a complimentary bottle of wine, fresh fruit and a box of handmade Irish chocolates are brought to your suite upon arrival.

Please let Richard know as soon as possible if you want to join us for a fantastic couple of days out.
