Good Points and Bad Points

Good:- Excellent accommodation, undercover bike parking, reasonably priced, accommodation extremely flexible, fantastic breakfasts, luxurious communal lounge, BBQ facility, good garden, friendly animals, centrally located in Cornwall, very friendly hosts. In fact almost perfect for a motorcycling group.

Bad:- Around 2-3 miles off the main roads which may not seem a long way but down Cornish country lanes on a bike can be!, no pubs or other facilities within walking distance.

Summary:- Absolutely ideal for a short break (2-3 days) as you can taxi into places for a couple of nights and have a BBQ. After 2-3 days taxi-ing would prove a bit much and so would the country lanes for some.

Directions

Travelling South along the A30, pass the Bodmin turn off. At the roundabout take the A391 towards St. Austell. Turn first left after approximately 400 yards/metres (NOTE: This is not sign posted - if you pass any buildings you have gone too far).

Then turn first right - this is signposted to Luxulyan and there is a small bus shelter on the corner. You are now in an area known as Conce Moor.

Turn second left, sign posted Trevellion, Gunwen and Helman Tor - this turning is just past Creusa Kennels. The farm land starts here - you will see a sign for Tor View Accommodation and Study Centre.

Travelling another 400 yards, will bring you to the first of the farm properties, Trevellyn Farm with the name plaque, “M.J. and P.J. Hugo and Son Incorporated” on the gate entrance. The entrance to Tor View Centre is just below this farm, on the right hand side.
