A sun drenched long week-end at Tor View near Bodmin saw us enjoying the delights of Cornwall with 15 taking advantage of the beautiful Cornish scenery. A long week-end had been arranged by Richard and when we arrived we found absolutely first class accommodation awaiting us with a luxurious communal lounge to relax in. The bikes had undercover parking and we had the benefits of a resident pig and two dogs.

The Globe Inn at Lostwithiel was our venue for the evening meal and we had organised a local minibus which took us on an extremely long tour of Cornwall to get to the pub 5 miles away!! It was well worth it though as the food and hospitality was absolutely superb. To top the evening the minibus even came back to collect us.

Although there was a schedule set up it was all completely flexible but most took advantage of the trip to the Eden Project on Saturday morning - although it was a bit pricey. Bev and Roger decided to play a game of 'Hunt the bike keys' before they joined us but they came as well in the end. In the afternoon we split off but all came together in Mevagissey for a stroll.

In the evening there was a BBQ and unbelievably not all of the alcohol was drunk! And some food was left. Terry did the 'cooking' and we all survived the next day......

On the Sunday glorious sunshine greeted us for the North Cornwall tour only for mizzle to descend for when we set off. This stayed with us all the way to Hell's Mouth but finally the sun started to come out and St Ives was hot and sunny. After a refreshing lunch stop we again split up to take in different sights in the afternoon.

In the evening most of us went to the Old Jail in Bodmin where Richard had a great telephone conversation with the manageress whilst he was standing next to her at the bar. This was really funny as the staff had spotted him answering his phone when she called but when he kept saying 'can you speak up as the line is poor' they couldn't control their laughter. The evening was topped off by an incredibly large jam group and Terry dancing. What is the world coming to?

Unfortunately it was soon time to go and after a few final photos in the morning off we went.
