Misty Murky Run (Apr 20) (click on thumbnails to enlarge)

A misty murky day saw 6 bikes head off to the delights of Bourton-on-the-Water. After a re-fooding stop at a Little Chef we rode through ever increasing mist and finally into the Cotswolds.

Whilst at Bourton we came across the Haslemere pack who were enjoying the weather as well!

Six bikes were brave enough to come along and a total mileage was around 180.

Docked Points For Not Turning Up Run (Mar 16)

So where was everyone on the first ride out of the year. For our first rat run of 2008, we all met at the new starting point, McDonalds in the Wrekin Retail Park. The weather was a bit wet to start with but got better as we went north. A regular stop for breakfast was enjoyed at the Ponderosea and we then headed to the Albert Docks. Luckily for Brian he remembered the road numbers as he had left the route map at home......

After about three hours at Albert Docks we then headed home in dry, sunny but cool weather down the old a41.
